This was a very tough project to manage.
The combination of small size and a location on Beacon Hill with no parking made it difficult to find subcontractors willing to even consider the work.
The result was a project that took much longer than originally planned and cost
more than originally estimated.*
Nevertheless, throughout the project Richard remained cheerful and dedicated to completing the work.
He honored all of his promises and the finished project met all expectations.
Description of work:
Managed the remodel of a small kitchen in an old Beacon Hill building. Also replaced the stair treads on a "homemade" spinal case.
Richard’s work on this project was a mix of recommending subcontractors and coordinating their work and completing woodworking tasks on his own.
*Once established at $15,000, the project did not exceed the budget.
